Welcome at Maine Coon Cattery Lowima, Maine Coon breeder since 2010.
After enjoying keeping Maine Coons as pets for a few years, I took the step to start breeding and helping others find such a great and gentle friend. That’s how Cattery Lowima came into being. My cattery is located in Kampen, the Netherlands
As a breeder, my goal is to breed sweet, social and of course healthy kittens. Fitting within the breed standard of the Maine coon. The Maine coons within the cattery are tested before they have a litter. This includes DNA for the relevant conditions, blood group, HCM and PKD via ultrasound (HCM repeatedly), PL and since 2019 also HD. In addition, the inbreeding percentage/foundation and cloning are taken into account when planning a litter.
